Velocity 2.0

Velocity 2.0 is used by clinicians, medical technologists, and engineers to reconstruct CT and MRI 3-D volumetric data. The resulting 3-D models can be quantitated, rendered, and converted to stereolithography format for rapid prototyping applications. An image processor with gray level, filtering, 3-D seed fill and region-of-interest operations is included. High resolution surface polygon models are displayed using the materials, texture mapping, transparency and lighting capabilities of the IRIS workstations. Special tools are provided for smoothing 3-D surfaces and reducing numbers of polygons in surface models. Third-party solutions allow import of models to CAD software.
